She still has one big congress to look after at the end of June – the SGOT, the 72nd Annual Conference of the Swiss Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology – before we will be raising our glasses twice over: firstly for Daniela Stohler's well-earned retirement in mid-August and secondly for her 15 years of valuable service as a project manager at the Congress Center Basel. Daniela Stohler joined the team in the late 90s after working in the logistics field for many years and attending a large number of trade fairs abroad in this context. She was looking for a change and ultimately found it in her new post at the Congress Center Basel.
More time for her husband and friends
Working together with the team at the Congress Centre Basel and with their customers was always something that Daniela Stohler greatly cherished. The positive outlook that she constantly radiated and her high level of reliability made her the ideal team player and ensured that she enjoyed ever-increasing popularity amongst our customers. CCB employees can look back at several hectic situations in which Daniela Stohler kept her calm and disseminated optimism. Daniela Stohler will miss her colleagues, but is looking forward to extensive jogging, painting, reading and, above all, more time for her husband and circle of friends.
The Congress Center Basel would like to thank Daniela Stohler for her many years of valuable work, which have made a decisive contribution to the Congress Center Basel's first class reputation.
To ensure that Daniela Stohler does not deprive us of too much know-how when she takes her retirement, Regula Tschopp (see also Newsletter 01/12) was hired as her successor at the start of the year already. This will ensure a seamless transition to the next generation, which can now benefit decisively from the extensive experience built up by Daniela Stohler.
