Travel to the Congress Center Basel

The Congress Center Basel is located directly alongside Messe Basel.

Basel, located in Switzerland at the heart of Europe, is a congress city with conveniently situated facilities. Basel Exhibition enjoys a downtown location, travel times are short, and the historic old town, the shopping areas and the many museums and parks can be reached comfortably on foot or in a few minutes by public transport.

Public Transport

Take tram no. 1 or 2  from the Swiss or French (SBB/SNCF) railway station; you will reach Basel Exhibition in 10 minutes. From the German (DB) station (Badischer Bahnhof) you will be at "Messeplatz / Exhibition Square" in 5 minutes by tram no. 2 or 6.

Basel is an international rail hub: direct ICE, IC and EC daytime and nighttime connections from Germany, Austria, Italy France and the Benelux countries.

All three of Basel’s railway stations – SBB (Switzerland), SNCF (France) and DB (Badischer Bahnhof, Germany) – are within 5-10 minutes of Basel Exhibition.

Autobahn

Basel is the point where the Swiss, French and German motorway networks meet. Messe Basel and the trade-fair grounds have their own motorway exit. The "Messe" exit from the A2 motorway leads directly to the fair and congress ground. There is a multi-storey car park with space for 1300 vehicles at Exhibition Square.
